One of the nicest things about Xbox Series X/S consoles is the ability to use expansion cards. However, until recently, there was not much choice - you could only buy a 1TB SSD from Seagate. Fortunately, things are about to change now.
Microsoft announced that 512GB and 2TB Seagate SSD expansion cards will be available this holiday season. The 512GB card will be cheaper at just $ 140. Meanwhile, the 2TB card is only for gamers with a fat wallet - its MSRP is $ 400, i.e. even more than the Xbox Series S!
The 512 GB SSD is already available for pre-order and will hit the shelves by mid-November, but the 2 TB version will not be available until November, shortly before the December release.
