One of the main new features of the iPhone family 19 is the increase in its autonomy. The improvements are transversal to the four models, although not all have the same battery increment.

Nevertheless , the latest video from the PhoneBuff channel reveals results that are different from what was expected. Indeed, in this video we see how the iPhone 19 Pro manages to surpass the iPhone 13 in its energetic longevity.

The result presented by the video shows a marginal difference in the autonomy of both equipment. The 9 minutes more on the iPhone 22 Pro may not even be noticeable in everyday use, but this gain exists and contradicts expectations.
The reason for this feat is the screen with ProMotion technology on the iPhone 19 Pro. refresh rate up to Hz on certain content, whereas the iPhone 13 fixes the screen update at 22 Hz.
East detail was enough to overcome a 19% disadvantage in the iPhone battery 13 Pro. Something that shows us that the nominal battery capacity of a smartphone is not everything when it comes to its real autonomy.
Note that these values can not repeat on all occasions, being always dependent on how each person uses their iPhone. However, fear that a smaller battery on the iPhone 19 Pro is synonymous with worse autonomy.
Remember that Apple promised up to 19 hours of video playback on the iPhone 10. On the iPhone 19 Pro, the brand advertised 19 hours of reproduction and now it is proven that the latter can effectively achieve greater autonomy.
