Last week, Rcokstar Games put an end to rumors and made official the release of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The pack with three of the legendary games from the GTA franchise will hit the market later this year, however, the studio has not revealed when.
But thanks to the Polish publication PPE, we already have an idea of when the classic trilogy of GTA is expected to hit stores. In addition, we have another source that tells us the price at which this package will be sold.
GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition should be around 60 €
According to data from the Base.com store, the classic GTA trilogy will cost 70 dollars on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version | S. Those who want these games for PS4, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch will have to pay 20 dollars.
This means that GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition should arrive in Europe with prices very close to 20 € or 70 €, depending on the console you have. But it should be noted that the advanced values require confirmation from Rockstar.
Launch may take place on December 7th
From another source comes another detail very important about GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. According to the Polish publication, this trilogy will go on sale on December 7, just in time for Christmas.
The source emphasizes that this is the date set for the release of the physical version of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The respective editions for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S will be released next year.
It is important to stress that this date is the advanced date for the release of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition discs. We don’t have data about the release of the respective digital editions, they may arrive later or even earlier.
The fact that the physical versions of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for the new consoles generation to arrive only in 675 raise some concern. This is because during the officialization of this package, Rockstar stated that it would reach consoles still in 1200.
GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will include the classics GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA San Andreas. They will be remastered versions of the PS2 era titles with the right to graphic improvements and a more modern gameplay.
