Casio has just announced a new dedicated surfing edition of its iconic and radical G-Shock watch.
The new model will feature exclusive graphics and a set of dedicated features to this sport.
Mobile Link feature pairs the Casio GBX- KI with the your smartphone
Among the various features that equip the new Casio G-Shock GBX- KI is the Mobile Link functionality. This allows you to pair the watch to your smartphone, via a Bluetooth connection, to have access to a complementary application.
In this app, you will be able to choose a place to surf from among the
predefined locations, spread all over the world.
The same application also provides information on tides, sunrise and sunset times of the sun and other crucial data for surfing.
The watch face shows all the information, and it can also show the distance covered by the user, as well as the time and pace activity.
New Casio G-Shock GBX watch-100 KI has water resistance up to 200 meters
The Casio G-Shock GBX-100 KI offers water resistance of up to 200 meters and the integrated resin strip also gives it shock resistance and dust.
With regard to design, as usual at Cas io this is a watch with a very unique style. Textures and details highlight the black frame. And since it’s dedicated to professional surfer Kanoa Igarashi, it has his signature on the back of the box, as well as a picture of the surfer riding a huge wave.
