XFX Launches Radeon RX 6900 XT With Waterblock And Overclocked To 3 GHz

XFX has presented a "charged" modification of the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card. The new product based on the AMD Navi 21 XTXH graphics processor received a liquid cooling system, which, according to the manufacturer, allows you to achieve impressive results when manually overclocking the GPU.

The new product with the commercial name XFX Radeon RX 6900 XT Speedster Zero WB received two VGA-UEFI chips, as well as 16 power phases (14 + 2) and three 8-pin connectors. The water block used, developed by the Slovenian company EKWB, received a nickel-plated copper base and an acrylic cover as a decorative element, as well as RGB lighting.

The declared frequency of the GPU of the novelty, depending on the operating mode, is 2200, 2375 or 2525 MHz, and at maximum overclocking it can reach 3.0 GHz. However, the vendor does not specify whether we are talking about a stable or short-term peak value. The set of graphics card interfaces includes DisplayPort 1.4a, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C connectors. For assemblies based on the overclocked version of the Radeon RX 6900 XT, a power supply with a capacity of at least 850 watts is recommended.

The cost and start date of sales of new items will be announced by the company later.
