Space cooling Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro in action [VIDEO]

ZTE spoke in detail about the cooling system used in the Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro gaming smartphone. To prevent overheating of the device, the manufacturer used technologies and materials used in the aerospace industry.

As in its predecessors, the Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro uses an active cooling system based on a small cooler that "drives" the air inside the case. This is complemented by a large copper plate, graphene, liquid-filled heat pipes and other components.

In addition to the above elements, for the first time in smartphones, the phase-change material eicosan C21H44 is used. Its principle of operation is to absorb external heat and pass from a liquid to a solid state, and then back again when cooled. It is directly adjacent to the processor and is activated at temperatures around 38-41 ° C. A similar technology is used in the Chinese rover Zhurong, which allows it to cope with large temperature differences between day and night.

According to a Nubia representative, on average, the processor temperature will drop by 9 degrees, and when the cooling system is working at full strength - up to 20 degrees.

The presentation of the Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro is scheduled for September 6th. The smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 888+ processor and a display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz.
