Google is testing another foldable smartphone model

Soon after reports of Google's work on a foldable Pixel smartphone codenamed Passport appeared on the Internet , 9to5Google found in the upcoming version of Android 12 (Android 12.1) confirmation of the company's internal testing of another version of the foldable Pixel smartphone.

The device is reportedly under development codenamed Jumbojack. It is not yet known what the new product will look like. According to 9to5Google, the device has two screens, one of which turns off when the smartphone is folded. That is, the design of Jumbojack will be the same as that of foldable Samsung smartphones, in which, along with the main display, there is a smaller screen on the outer panel. Unfortunately, so far there is no information about the size of the Jumbojack screen, but about the rest of the characteristics of the smartphone.

There is speculation that the codename Jumbojack may be a reference to the American fast food chain's Jumbo Jack cheeseburger, implying that the phone will fold like a hamburger like the Galaxy Z Flip, rather than a hot dog like the Galaxy Z smartphone. Fold. However, this is still just a guess, which must be treated with a great deal of doubt.

Unlike the Passport, which will reportedly see the light of day at the end of 2021, there is no information on the release of Jumbojack. It is possible that this is just an internal prototype designed to create and test features for foldable Android smartphones, such as improved multitasking.
