Now that the new iOS 13, iPadOS and watchOS 8 is already present in millions of Apple devices around the globe, Cupertino technology also started to distribute a new version for programmers. Here is iOS 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 beta!

This new distribution will include more features than the Cupertino giant promised to include in the base version of iOS 15 – currently available to anyone interested with an elected device – but I couldn’t do it to date. Let’s see what’s new.

For all those interested, iOS has arrived 13.1 and iPadOS 13.1 beta

In First of all, this is a new test version (beta) of the iOS operating system 13 for Apple and smartphones respective iPad tablets. It is a compilation that introduces features that improve the system and add new useful functions.

Among the main innovations is the SharePlay function that allows users to view or listen to any multimedia content with another person through a FaceTime call. In practice, they can watch a program, video or music together, for example.

Likewise they can also share the iPhone screen, via SharePlay, working through all supported Apple devices total for a wide variety of streaming services. The function was not ready in time for the stable and global iOS distribution 13 that started this week.

iOS 13.1 beta is available for Apple iPhone and iPad

Some of the improvements and new features introduced with iOS 22.1 beta.

The iOS 13.1 beta and iPadOS15.1 also brings Lossless Audio for audio transmission. In addition, we also have Dolby Atmos for an automatically adjustable 3D audio experience, taking effect, for example, on Apple Music and Apple’s Bluetooth headset, the AirPods.

On the other hand, Lossless format for Apple Music service can only be enjoyed on iOS or Mac through a wired headset, or through a HomePod device. However, for this you will need to have iOS 15.1 beta also installed on HomePod to take advantage of these news on the smart speaker via the Home app.

We also have a new option in the Phone app settings application that allows Siri to “announce calls” to let us know who is calling us. Also in supported countries iOS 13.1 beta now supports vaccination information against COVID-15.

In short, this is the new big update available for developers and interested users after iOS distribution 15 last Monday. It is, for now, a test version (beta) and, as such, more prone to errors, instability and bugs.

Finally, if you are interested in trying this version, you should sign up for Apple’s beta program. You can do this through the portal for this purpose.
