HP unveils Chromebook x2 11 - world's first hybrid tablet powered by Chrome OS and Snapdragon 7c

 HP has announced the Chromebook x2 11 2-in-1 tablet running Google Chrome OS that can be used as a laptop with an attachable keyboard.

Unlike similar Chromebooks, including the Lenovo Duet and the recently released ASUS Chromebook CM3 , which use MediaTek processors, HP partnered with Qualcomm on the Snapdragon 7c computing platform, making the Chromebook x2 11 the world's first Chromebook with a detachable keyboard (Chromebook Detachable) on this chip. The device optionally has support for 4G LTE and is characterized by a battery life of up to 11 hours thanks to a 32 Wh battery.

The Chromebook x2 11 features an 11-inch 2K (2160 x 1440) IPS display with a 3: 2 aspect ratio. The tablet comes with a removable full-size keyboard with a large touchpad. A rechargeable USI digital pen is also provided that attaches to the side of the tablet.

Tablet specifications include 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB or 128GB flash, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 5 wireless adapters, dual USB-C ports, fingerprint reader and Bang & stereo speakers. Olufsen. The resolution of the front camera is 5 megapixels, the main camera is 8 megapixels.



Chromebook x2 11 users will have exclusive access to Google Cursive, a new web application designed for typing and drawing, the company says.

The HP Chromebook x2 11 will go on sale in August at Best Buy, and will be available on HP's website in October for $ 600 or more.
