Gamera Game publishers and development studio Youthcat, as part of the [F5] Games Show, revealed the new successes of their strategy simulator Dyson Sphere Program and the next major patch for the game.
Recall that the Dyson Sphere Program has been in early access on Steam since the end of January this year. In the first four days, sales of the game exceeded 200 thousand copies , and in a week - 350 thousand copies.
As it became known, over the six months that have passed since the launch of the Dyson Sphere Program, the project has managed to scatter around the world in the amount of over 1.5 million copies. One of the main success factors, the developers say, is regular updates.
As for the next major patch of the Dyson Sphere Program, it will offer a combat system (if desired, it can be turned off). The release date of the corresponding update has not been specified.
According to Youthcat Studio producer Xun Zhou, users will be able to learn new weapons, expand territories, fight enemies and organize defenses to protect their planets.
In the Dyson Sphere Program, you need to build an intergalactic factory that collects the energy of the stars using Dyson spheres. At the start of a new game, the universe is created on the basis of procedural generation, so that each playthrough is unique.
The developers are going to keep the Dyson Sphere Program in Early Access for about a year, but they promise to adjust the plans in response to user feedback. It is known that with a full-fledged launch, the cost of the game will rise.
