The game modding community of CD Projekt RED has shared the good news - some enthusiasts have been officially hired to work on Cyberpunk 2077 : amateur developers Traderain, Blumster, Nightmarea and rfuzzo will help the studio with various game projects.
Their tasks will include working with the Cyberpunk 2077 backend and modding support. Previously, the studio planned to release a wider toolkit for the new version of RED Engine, but for now it has limited itself to a small set of programs.
The modders are the authors of the WolvenKit toolkit , which was intended for The Witcher 3 , but has recently received support from Cyberpunk 2077. Enthusiasts will work under contract with the company Yigsoft, which Traderain co-founded with Nightmarea.
