Apple is testing an app to make Siri smarter

Siri's voice assistant has been helping iPhone and iPad users for years. Nevertheless, even after so much time, he sometimes finds it difficult to recognize even the simplest voice commands. Apparently, Apple has decided to "proactively" deal with this problem, secretly releasing a special application for the elite.

The Siri Speech Study app, according to research firm Sensor Tower, hit the App Store on August 9th. It is available in many countries, but it cannot be found with a simple app search or “flipping pages”.

After contacting Apple, journalists received information that the software is available only to the owners of a special invitation from the company - it is impossible to just download it and start using it. If the user is invited, he will receive a link to download the license agreement and, later, a page where he will be required to enter a unique ID.

The new app allows select users to contact Apple developers directly. They can view the history of requests to Siri and send feedback on all cases of incorrect operation of the service. The information collected by the company is said to help make Siri smarter.
