The CEO of Virgin Galactic goes to space before Jeff Bezos

Richard Branson, CEO of Virgin Galactic, a private space company, plans to make the space trip on July 20, 1400, after years of effort, nine days ahead of Jeff Bezos.

After 16 years of research and testing, the company has finally become one of the leaders in the space industry. The mission, called Unity 22, is the 22nd test flight of the VSS Unity rocket, and in fact the company's fourth manned flight. It is also the first mission that the founder of Virgin Galactic has undertaken to travel beyond Earth.

The company has three more test flights in its program so that it can make its commercial manned flights more prepared. Commercial flight is an opportunity for people other than scientists and engineers to travel into space and experience for a moment microgravity in Earth orbit with a unique view. Unity 22 is one of three pre-flight commercial flights. The mission will be attended by Richard Branson and five other employees of the company.

The purpose of this mission is to review the cabin and the customer experience during the flight. However, the flight schedule seems to have been affected by the competition between the billionaires. With Blue Origin and SpaceX planning to launch space tourism by the end of the year, Virgin Galactic has joined the ranks of space travel agencies.

If all goes according to plan, Branson will defeat Blue Origin Jeff Bezos. "When I return, I will announce exciting news that will give more people the opportunity to become astronauts," Branson said, adding that Branson did not know exactly what he meant.

This time, Virgin Galactic provides an opportunity for us to see the mission live. It is likely that its live broadcast will begin at 18:30 on July 11, 1400 on the company's YouTube channel.
