Woman orders iPhone 12 Pro Max and receives a broken tile

When we order a new smartphone online, we hope to open the box and be delighted with the experience of seeing the new device for the first time. What if we received a broken brick in return?

That's what happened to Olivia Parkinson, a social media manager in the UK. He reportedly ordered an iPhone 12 Pro Max through Virgin Media, but ended up disappointed when he opened the box.

The user took pictures and shared the case on social networks. "You don't love the day of receiving a new phone and then receiving this ... iPhone 12 Pro Max what?", He wrote in the caption that accompanied the photograph with the original product box and the broken brick.

Initially the operator Virgin Media thought that the user would be deceiving her. And Yodel, the company responsible for delivering the product, confirmed that the order would have been delivered with the packaging intact.

Fortunately for Olivia Parkinson, the operator concluded that she was a victim of fraud after an investigation. All the money that the buyer would have previously paid for the product was then returned.

As of the writing of this article, it has not been discovered what actually happened. But somewhere during the delivery process, the cell phone will have been replaced by the broken tile.
