The market for Android tablets is not as attractive as for smartphones equipped with this operating system. However, Apple is going through a booming period with the release of iPad tablets, thanks to their incredible software experience; But using Android on large devices has not been so successful. For this reason, several different manufacturers use software features to increase the productivity of Android tablets and to satisfy users. Today, companies such as Samsung , Lenovo , Huawei and several other brands compete with each other in the Android tablet market. Now, the Honor brand has preserved the legacy of its former mother (Huawei) in this field and recently unveiled a new tablet called the Honor tablet X7.
Last year, Huawei decided to sell the Honor sub-brand to a Chinese group in order to maintain the Honor brand's gains and focus the remaining resources on its devices. As an independent brand, it has got rid of all the pressures and restrictions imposed on Huawei. The brand is completely free to use US-related technologies and establish business relationships with American companies. Honor has already unveiled several new smartphones, and the Honor X7 tablet is the brand's first attempt at the tablet market since declaring independence from Huawei.
Specifications of the X7 tablet
Undoubtedly, the X7 tablet is an economical product. The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22T chip with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Of course, such a capacity of memory is not significant today; Therefore, the company has provided the possibility of upgrading the storage space of the device up to 512 GB by using the microSD memory card port.
The Honor Tablet X7 is equipped with an 8-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and has E-Book Mode in order to prevent user eye fatigue during long-term reading. This device is equipped with 2 camera sensors, one of which has a resolution of 2 megapixels and is used to record selfies and make video calls. The other 5-megapixel camera is located on the back of the tablet and has autofocus.
Despite its cost-effective nature, the X7 has a metal back panel with a sandy texture to ensure better grip. This device is 8.5 mm thick and weighs 325 grams. The tablet is powered by a 5100 mAh battery and is charged via a micro-USB port with a maximum power of 10 watts. Also, thanks to the 3.5 mm audio headphone jack, users can use their wired earphones to listen to music. The X7 tablet comes with the MagicUI 4.0 user interface based on the Android 10 operating system. Unfortunately, no explanation has been provided regarding the possibility of releasing an Android 11 update for this tablet.
The new Honor tablet will be enjoyable for children thanks to its education-oriented design and utilizing other child-centric capabilities. During the outbreak of Covid disease, 19 many children turned to home-based education; Therefore, the demand for such devices is increasing.
The Honor X7 tablet will be available in 3 different models in the Chinese market. The WiFi version of this tablet comes with a price tag of 899 yuan ($ 140/115 euros); While the 4G version is available for pricing at 1199 yuan ($ 185/155 euros).
