Outriders is becoming a relevant franchise for Square Enix. The game developed by People Can Fly had 3.5 million players during the first month. And that success could lead to more and more content reaching the looter shooter in the near future.
During a conversation with the press, Jon Brooke, one of the heads of external studios at Square Enix, commented on the importance of feedback and support from players along on the new IP:
Launching a new game is never easy and we remain very grateful for the support and support of the community. We will continue to listen to them with great care and we assure everyone that we are committed to improvements and improvements in the coming weeks and months.
Brooke also mentioned that he intends to continue expanding the game in the future. The game faced some bugs right after its release, but a few patches were enough for the devs to give players peace of mind.
