Capcom should use the RE Engine in Dragon's Dogma 2 , already applied by the company in other games, such as RE: 7 , RE: Village , Devil May Cry 5 and Monster Hunter Rise. The graphics engine is praised for its detailed visuals and excellent performance, with launches presenting few technical problems.
The information was released by the developer and leaker, "Dusk Golem". According to him, all the company's games will use the engine, unless they are ports or remasters.
It is quite safe to assume that most Capcom games that are not ports, remasters or very specifically use an engine for one reason or another will use the RE Engine. Dragon's Dogma 2 is 100% using RE Engine, but I would say it is not surprising.
It should be noted that Dragon's Dogma 2 has not yet been officially announced by Capcom. The game's only appearance was in a cracker attack on the Japanese company's data in November 2020, when it ended up indicating the development of a franchise title.
After the Dark Arisen version debuted in 2016, the series also won an anime adaptation on Netflix in September last year.
