A User Sued Apple For Deleting His Apple ID Account Worth $ 24,000

Company Apple has recently been involved with a strange legal case. The complaint relates to terms and conditions relating to Apple Media Services that allow the company to delete an Apple ID account that is illegal or unacceptable.

The lawsuit was filed Tuesday in the United States District Court in Northern California. The lawsuit alleges that Apple Services's laws claim that a user has been denied access to purchased media content following the deletion of an Apple ID.

Apple is allowed to block an Apple ID account in accordance with the terms and conditions announced by it. In addition, Apple has explicitly stated in the lawsuit that the company will be able to delete an account based on its suspicions.

The text of the lawsuit states that "it is unacceptable and unlawful for Apple to delete an individual user account, and Apple will have to compensate its users if they delete their account under the pretext of violating the terms and conditions."

In addition, the lawsuit claims that deleting an Apple ID account will significantly reduce the value of Apple devices purchased by users; Because in such cases, users will not be able to access Apple services or purchased content. According to Matthew Price; The plaintiff paid about $ 25,000 for the content attached to his Apple ID account. When Apple deleted Mr. Price's Apple ID account for violating its rules; His access to all previously purchased content was cut off.

According to the complaint document, the $ 25,000 content includes apps, in-app purchases, platform apps and extensions, and related services. The plaintiff also alleges that Apple blocked his access to funds connected to the Apple ID account. For example, this user account on iTunes had a balance of about $ 7.

The petition does not mention the reason for deleting Mr. Price's account. However, it has been reported that Apple has deleted Matthew Price's Apple ID account without providing any specific warnings, explanations, policies or procedures. It is further claimed that Apple's conduct, especially the rules and consequently the deletion of user accounts, is an unfair, illegal and fraudulent act. The lawsuit also alleges that Apple violated the California Consumer Protection Act on several occasions. The lawsuit, which follows a campaign, includes all American users whose Apple ID accounts have been blocked by Apple.

The lawsuit calls on members of the jury to issue a temporary injunction to curb Apple's illegal actions and ultimately oblige the American giant to pay all financial damages resulting from the removal of the account and the proxy fee.
