The petition does not mention the reason for deleting Mr. Price's account. However, it has been reported that Apple has deleted Matthew Price's Apple ID account without providing any specific warnings, explanations, policies or procedures. It is further claimed that Apple's conduct, especially the rules and consequently the deletion of user accounts, is an unfair, illegal and fraudulent act. The lawsuit also alleges that Apple violated the California Consumer Protection Act on several occasions.
