Remedy Entertainment announced the new release date of Control Ultimate Edition. The adventure/action title from Jesse Faden will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series on February 2 in digital format and on March 2 in physical editions.
The developer revealed the release date for Control Ultimate Edition through a new trailer where it showed a little of the improvements for the new video games. The enhanced version will feature ray-tracing (option for Graphics Mode) and will run at 60 FPS (option for Performance Mode).
The Control Ultimate Edition release date was originally scheduled for the end of 2020, but Remedy Entertainment needed more time to work on the game and make it “awesome” on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
Game support makes sense if you think about sales success. According to the developer, more than two million copies of Control have already been sold worldwide.
