FromSoftware to show Elden Ring in the coming months, says journalist

With each 2020 gamer event, fans created expectations about the arrival of Elden Ring trailers. However, news about the game was sparse, and FromSoftware shows no signs that it will bring news soon. But according to journalist Jeff Grubb, this scenario may change soon.

The VentureBeat reporter accurately anticipated several news stories recently ( including the Mass Effect trilogy's remastering, for example). This time, he stated on the GamesBeat podcast that Hidetaka Miyazaki's new title would not take “months, months, and more months” until it appears.

Based on what he heard a few weeks ago, Grubb said that an Elden Ring trailer could have shown up at The Game Awards 2020. However, as he gathered the information days before the event, he was pessimistic about it. Anyway, FromSoftware already looks ready to show the game.
Obviously they're working on the game ... they didn't show it, but they probably could, if they wanted to. I believe you are in that state. Let's take a month or two. One more thing I heard: have a little more patience, just a little. This does not mean days or weeks, but it does not mean months, months and more months.

About Elden Ring

Miyazaki has already brought some information about the game, which will be  “a natural evolution of Dark Souls.” The writer George RR Martin was responsible for creating the universe's myths and had none of his ideas limited by the studio. The combat and the narrative continue under the signature of the Japanese developer.

There is no release date or window for the title. It will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC - next-gen platforms have not received any announcements.
