Loading of the same mission on PS4 reaches 22 seconds
Loading times in the new generation promise to be much lower thanks to its high-speed SSD. Well, a user on ResetEra noted that Devil May Cry 5 on PS5 loads in just five seconds. On PS4, it takes 22 seconds to start.
A hands-on of the title on PlayStation 5 demonstrates the video game's loading power. At the 21:32 mark in the video (we have already separated the moment), it is possible to watch one of the first missions. It doesn't take long for the game to start.
Devil May Cry 5 on PS5, compared to PS4, the player even has a moment to check messages on his cell phone, if he so wishes. The difference in loading times is enviable. Watch:
It is interesting to note a detail: the speed of the PS5 is so high, that Capcom added a button at the end of the load for the user to have time to read the in-game tips or rest.
With fast loadings, it won't be surprising to see devs implementing more and more transitions through animations, instead of traditional screens. After all, there is no reason to put them on as the gameplay starts quickly.
