Assassin's Creed Valhalla director leaves office

Ashraf Ismail was one of the people who came to the public most to talk about Assassin's Creed Valhalla , but the director announced that he had stepped down from the leadership of the project. He did not elaborate on the reasons, but revealed that the decision was made because of "personal problems".
I am moving away from my beloved project to deal with personal problems in my life. My life and that of my family is devastated. My sincere apologies to everyone hurt by this.

The site GameInformer reported that Ismail's announcement came after a revelation of alleged infidelity. A Twitter user claims to have been involved with the former director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla for a year without knowing he was married.

Ashraf Ismail was responsible for creating Assassin's Creed Origins and Black Flag. So far, Ubisoft has not said whether the producer would be able to return until the end of the development of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Possibly, the company will follow the production schedule with another director.

For now, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is scheduled to be released at the end of 2020. The title will reach the consoles of the current generation and also for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
