Augmented reality is changing the way we work with the environment around us. We are still taking the first steps when it comes to this technology, but what is being achieved in combination with artificial intelligence techniques and the most advanced sensors is truly amazing. Thanks to it, for example, we can test IKEA furniture on a real scale in our room just by using a phone application.
And it is that one of the markets in which this technology can have the most impact is that of retail. Augmented reality is the perfect opportunity for consumers to have the opportunity to bring home products that we were previously forced to imagine with the help of a 2D image. But this requires creating models of all products, and that can be a really complex task. Or at least, it was until Cyril Diagne appeared.
Cyril Diagne is an artist, designer and programmer for 34 years creating an application able to quickly copy a model of any real object to paste it later in different programs like Photoshop. For this, it is only necessary to scan an object and point to the area of the program that we are using to paste it. This is possible thanks to the application of machine learning, which greatly improves the process of scanning objects.

At the moment, in addition to being the protagonist of some videos that its creator has published on Twitter, the application has already started a testing phase on both Android and iOS . To access it we will only have to access the website that its developer has enabled and complete the form that we will find. From there it will be a matter of luck that we can test this curious innovation.
