MSI today announced updated models for its Trident and Infinite gaming desktop lines. The launches will come equipped with the 10th generation Comet Lake of Intel processors, in addition to the Nvidia Super line of GPUs.
The Trident line consists of three models. The first of these is the MEG Trident X 10th, which can reach configurations with Core i9 10900K and GPU RTX 2080 Super in a 10-liter case. The device will bring a motherboard with the new Z490 chipset, support two M.2 SSDs and memories up to 2933MHz.
The manufacturer guarantees that despite the small space, the thermal performance of the Trident X will be excellent, using Silent Storm technology. The computer will also have a Thunderbolt 3 connection, 4mm tempered glass side and RGB lighting.
The MPG Trident A 10th adopts more modest specifications, with B460 chipset, Intel Core i7 10700 processor, only one entry for M.2 SSDs, dual-channel RAM and Nvidia RTX 2060 Super GPU. Finally, the MPG Trident 3 10th maintains the settings seen on the Trident A, but exchanging the chipset for an H410.
Meanwhile, the Infinite line is also made up of three models, in configurations similar to the Trident line. The MSI MEG Infinite X 10th is the most powerful and can be configured with Core i9 10900K processor, Nvidia RTX 2080 Super, two inputs for M.2 SSDs and 2933MHz memory in quad-channel.
The MAG Infinite 10th follows what was seen in its Trident line counterpart, with Core i7 10700 processor, GPU RTX 2060 Super, an M.2 SSD and dual-channel DDR4 memories. The main difference is due to the chipset, which here is the H410. Finally, we have the MAG Infinite S 10th, which has the same specifications as the Infinite 10th.
Like the Trident line, Infinite models have options with 4mm tempered glass side panel, RGB lighting and Intel Wi-Fi 6 modem. The launches are expected to start sales in June, and their prices have not been announced.
It is worth remembering that the company last month updated its lines of gamer and corporate notebooks . We also see here 10th generation Intel processors and Nvidia Super GPUs, in addition to Wi-Fi 6X and Bluetooth 5.1.
