Google's new Pixel 4a is half as powerful as iPhone SE

Pixel 4 XL

Google's new Pixel 4a will have great performance, but according to the latest leaks it won't be as powerful as Apple's iPhone SE.

Everything seems to indicate that its Qualcomm chip will not have as high a performance as the latest, most affordable iPhone from the signature of the bitten apple logo.

More details about the Google Pixel 4a have been leaked from the YouTube channel TechnoLike Plus. They have performed a performance and autonomy test. You can see the video here:

The performance of the Google Pixel 4a

With its Snapdragon chip 730, Google's Pixel 4a achieved a score of 268. 973 in the AnTuTu benchmark, outperforming its Pixel 3a XL predecessor but far behind of the chip score A 13 Bionic iPhone SE of 2020, which obtained a score of 441. 752.

As for the rest of the benchmarks, practically the same happens. The Pixel 4a has achieved a score of 8. 867 points in the PCMark tests and a score of 6 in the GFXBenchmark with the Aztec Ruins OpenGL test 1440 p.

In the single-core test the Pixel 4a has had a score of 548 , while in the test multi-core has reached a score of 1. 628 . Numbers that show that its performance is very high, but not as powerful as that of the second-generation iPhone SE that the company with the recently bitten apple logo presented.

Be that as it may, these tests have been carried out on a supposed engineering prototype of the Pixel 4a, so in theory the final product could obtain slightly higher results in tests. Still, everything seems to follow common logic, since Apple usually dominates in terms of the performance of their devices since they design their own software and hardware so that they work in harmony. What do you think about this data?
