A (proud) user of Huawei Honor 10 shared a funny story on the Chinese social network Weibo. About a year ago, his Honor 10 fell from the fifth floor of his apartment.
The mobile phone screen is completely broken, as you can see from the image. However, the user left the mobile phone aside, assuming it was unusable. However, a year later, the mobile phone was charged and switched on.
Despite massive damage on the screen, Honor 10 continues to work. Even the top of the LED screen has been completely destroyed. However, the user was able to make some calls in the normal way.
The touch screen appears to still work at the bottom of the screen. As such, the mobile phone remains functional, at least for calls or emergencies.
The vice president of Honor commented on the
It was not long before Xiong Junmin, VP of Honor, made a publication mentioning this caricature situation. Junmin said the crash was much more aggressive than any test done at Honor Labs.
In 2018, a user had a similar experience with a Huawei P20
Mai Zhenyu, a Huawei P20 user, accidentally dropped his twenty-first-floor cell phone. The phone was in a bad state, with its body folded and rear glass and front shattered.
Despite the damage, the phone continued to function. functions such as face unlock, biometric sensor and Bluetooth were at 100%. The user could even use applications and make calls.
