Xiaomi is a company well known for offering products that span all areas of technology; the latest addition is a viewer that promises to bring the cinema into your home, indeed, directly to your head.
Called Xiaomi Mi 3D Cinema Headset, this display has two 2.54-inch displays with full HD resolution, with a 95% NTSC colour gamut; in addition to supporting 3D effects, with a viewing angle of 63 °, it should offer the same experience of looking at a 954-inch monitor 20 meters away.
Be careful not to mistake it for a viewer for augmented reality, though, because it is a completely different product. Its operation allows you to view multimedia content by sharing the screen with another device (all devices with iOS, Android, Windows or MacOS are compatible); inside there are still 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and a battery that should offer up to 3 hours of content viewing.
Let's now move on to the cost, usually not a worrying aspect when talking about Xiaomi: Xiaomi Mi 3D Cinema Headset has a cost of 1299 Yuan, about 170 Euro at the exchange rate, very little compared to what is offered by competition on the market.
