Mediatek announces first processor with integrated 5G modem

MediaTek unveiled at Computex 2019 its first bet on 5G technology. The announced processor has an integrated 5G modem, and promises download speeds of 4.7Gbps and 2.5Gbps upload. This is a processor intended to take the 5G to low-cost devices
