iMac Pro is now available with 256 GB of RAM and GPU Radeon Pro Vega 64X

Today, Apple not only updated the iMac line, adding a 6-core Intel Core i9 processor and new graphics processors, the company also added new versions of RAM and GPU for the iMac Pro, which was released in December 2017.

The following upgrades are now available for iMac Pro:

  • 256 GB DDR4 ECC memory 2666 MHz: + 423072 pub.

  • Graphics processor Radeon Pro Vega 64X with 16 GB of memory HBM2: +

Both configurations significantly increase the cost of the base model for 430 thousand rubles. Other configuration options remained unchanged.

In addition, some iMac Pro configurations for the US have become cheaper:
For example, 64 GB of RAM have become two times cheaper (from $ 800 to $ 400). 128 GB of RAM memory is now worth 2000 dollars and not 2400. Graphic processor Radeon Vega Pro 64 has fallen from 600 dollars to 500, and TB of memory are not 2800 and 2400 dollars .

The configuration of the Radeon Pro Vega 64X GPU is a very profitable offer. In addition, this graphics processor has 16 GB of internal memory. This will increase the overall RAM of your computer, but also make it twice as expensive.

However, iMac Pro and so the computer is not for everyone.

Recall that March 25 will be the first presentation of Apple this year. This week, the company has already announced a new iPad Air with a 10.5-inch display and iPad mini 5. Both tablets received support for Apple Pencil 1 generation and processors A12 Bionic.
