Nokia 2 will soon receive Android 8.1 Oreo, the test phase is over

Nokia 2 is the low-end smartphone launched by the company in 2017 with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board. The smartphone will be updated to Android 8.1 Oreo, even if it does not have good hardware.

The update to Android 8.1 Oreo for Nokia 2  will come soon, as the beta testing phase is officially over today. During the morning, in fact, all the subscribers to the Nokia 2 beta testing program received an email, through which the company announced the end of the test phase and the "short" arrival (as stated in the email ) of the stable version.

Just because of the basic datasheet of the smartphone, Nokia has decided to make optional upgrading to Android 8.1 Oreo, leaving the user the final choice between the novelty or the speed. It is good to remember that, despite being a low-end smartphone, the Android 8.1 Oreo version will be the classic and not the Android Go Edition.
