Thus, the list showed six processors of this line H. Two Core i5, two Core i7 and two Core i9. With regard to the top of the range, the main highlight goes to the Intel Core i9-9980HK. We are talking about a processor that will come with 8 cores and 16 threads. Its maximum clock will be 5.0GHz.
Core i9-9980HK allows overclocking
However, the K at the end of the name of this processor means that it will be unlocked. That is, users can perform the so-called overclocking. In fact, the stability of such a process will always depend on the cooling of the computer concerned.
The Core i9980H, in turn, has the same number of cores and threads. However, as its name implies, it does not give the possibility of overclocking. The maximum speed is encrypted at 4.8GHz for this model.
It remains to be seen whether these clock rates will actually be sustainable in terms of cooling. Given the problems that the Core i9-8950H (its predecessor) had with cooling in some models, it is to be hoped that this is improved in this line.

The truth is that the average consumer will eventually buy the i7 variant. In this field, Intel will bring the i7-9850H and i7-9750H. Both will have six cores and six threads. However, the clock speed varies slightly, being 4.6 and 4.5GHz respectively.
With regard to the input range, we have the Core i5-9400H and the i5-9300H. In this version we will have 4 cores and 8 threads in each. The maximum clock is 4.3GHz in the top model and 4.1GHz in the most modest model.
