Xiaomi already prepares Android Pie for Redmi Note 5 and 6 Pro
Last month we learned that some variants of Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro with Android Pie came to Geekbench. By the way, Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will bring the latest operating system for this smartphone and for other models as well.
Now, according to a post on MIUI's official forum, Xiaomi is looking for beta testers for Android Pie for the Redmi Note 5, Mi 6X, Redmi S2, and Redmi 6 Pro smartphones.
Remember that in addition to Redmi Note 5, the other smartphones launched with Android Oreo should receive at least one update at the level of the main operating system.
Redmi Note 5 was released with Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Then received the Android Oreo. Now the fact that getting the Android Pie is undoubtedly great news.
It is true that many manufacturers guarantee two major upgrades and Xiaomi is no exception. However, this is especially true for tops. In the case of mid-range may not be so well.
The above models are the Chinese models. However, the Android Pie update should eventually be released for Redmi S2, which is known as Redmi Y2 in India and Redmi Note 5, which is sold as Redmi Note 5 Pro.
On the other hand, Mi 6X and Redmi 6 Pro already run Android Pie outside of China. In Europe and beyond, they are known as Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, respectively.
Unfortunately, the page to join the beta program is only available in Chinese. However, if you want to stalk you can do it here.

It is not yet known what the release date is for the stable update. Still, it should reach the end of this quarter.
Now with all this news, the equipment we mentioned above turned out to be much more attractive.
