The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 beats all on AnTuTu, including iPhone XS

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855  has appeared on AnTuTu, the well-known platform for testing the performance of electronic devices, and has made a clean sweep.

The score made by the SoC that will mount many of the next top-of-the-range smartphones, such as Samsung Galaxy S10, LG G8, and Sony Xperia XZ4, is amazing. Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 manages to beat, and by far, its predecessor and even surpasses the SoC HiSilicon Kirin 980. We see all the details in the comparative graph below.

As we can see from the graph, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 has been compared with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, the OnePlus 6T and the Huawei Mate 20.

It can be seen that the difference in score between the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in the "generic" version and the OnePlus 6T is substantial, because the SoC is adapted and optimized once mounted on each smartphone. As a result, we can only imagine how the (already high) score of the Snapdragon 855 can increase further, once installed and optimized on the next top of the range.

In comparison, there is neither the Samsung Exynos 9820, but has always scored scores lower than those just seen with the Snapdragon 855, nor the SoC iPhone XS, or the Apple A12 Bionic. Even in this case, we can rely on the tests already seen on the iPhone XS and, considering the 355,000 points scored by the Apple A12 Bionic.

Once the new SoC will be reality on the smartphones of 2019, will it really manage to beat the Apple chip?
