Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) with Android 9 Pie spotted on Geekbench

Obviously, Samsung has favored its flagship smartphones of 2018 and of 2017 regarding the release of updates to Android 9 Pie but it seems that the Korean giant has already prepared this important update for a model of the mid-range two years ago: we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017).

The confirmation comes from the database of Geekbench, in which the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) appeared with on board the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, scoring 801 points in the single-core test and 4,292 points in the multi-core test:

 

Unfortunately, the Geekbench database does not give us any other information except for the confirmation that the device is running Android 9 Pie.

To find out if the update is still in the initial test phase or, on the contrary, it is now close to release, we will have to wait for official information from the Korean manufacturer. Owners of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) can begin to cross their fingers.
