HTC closes 2018 in negative, for the seventh consecutive year

Even the most ardent fans of HTC begin to wonder how long the situation will last, which sees the Taiwanese manufacturer close a 2018 that has set new bad records, It is the seventh year in a row in which the turnover drops and for the first time HTC failed to reach the billion dollars.

The month of December ended with a very poor turnover, at least for a company of the carat of HTC: 44 million dollars that bring the total of 2018 to 770 million dollars with a decrease that, compared to 2017, nearly 62%.

As if the data were not quite sad, the December figures show an 8% drop compared to the month of November, which was one of the worst ever. Despite everything, however, HTC  does not seem willing to leave the smartphone market, and among the goals of 2019, there is an increase in market shares and a return to profitability.

Will 2019 really be the year of a positive turn for HTC, which for too long seems to have lost the compass, or will we see yet another collapse of profits? We'll find out in a few months. The comment box is at your disposal.
