For players
The highlight of the company this year is the Area-51m, an Alienware with a 17.3-inch screen and plenty of power. It comes with three processor options: Core i7-8700, i7-9700K or i9-9900K, the latter also used in desktops. In graphics processing, it is already upgraded with the latest line of Nvidia cards, the RTX. The options are between RTX 2060, 2070 or 2080. Internal storage also has three variables in user-selected units, between SSD and HDD slots.
To keep your device up-to-date, Dell has decided to draw the Area-51m so that the user can basically switch all components from storage to processor and video card. It is worth noting that the line has a dedicated port for capacity expansion with an external GPU, which remains in this model.
The 17.3 inch screen is in IPS LCD, with antireflection treatment and can appear in four options: 60 Hz; 60 Hz using Nvidia G-Sync; 144 Hz with Tobii eye tracking; and 144 Hz with G-Sync and Tobii.
Another interesting curiosity of this device is that it has two inputs for a power source, one with 180 watts and the other with 330 watts. It has three USB 3.1 ports, a Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, mini display and an audio port in 3.5 mm.
As already traditional of the line, it is also not meant to be light or thin. The weight is 3.87 kg in its chassis 41 mm thick. Without a confirmed launch in Nigeria, the device can only be purchased in the United States. It will be worth $ 2,549 (~ $ 9,500) and will go on sale from January 29th.
Other lines
Another highlight more focused on the corporate universe is the Latitude 7400 2-in-1. That's because it comes with a technology that "prepares the device for you". The device has an Intel technology called Context Sensing (context-sensitive, in free translation). With it, the device can detect the presence of the user and start the system if you want.
In terms of security, it can still do the opposite. For example, if you are working on something stealthy when you get up from your desk, the device can automatically recognize it and lock it.
The handset is a Dell 2-in-1 with aluminium finish and a 14-inch screen.
Still unpredicted to arrive in Brazil, this model will be launched for the US $ 1,599 (~ R $ 5,950) in March of this year.
The company also announced new models of other lines. The XPS 13 arrives with Intel's eighth-generation processor and thin edges, and with the device's tiny front camera. The device still has no set price but should reach the market in March
In addition to that, she also introduced the Inspiron 7000 2-in-1 which feature two 13-inch or 15-inch screen models. One of the highlights is that it has a digital player on the power button. These two models arrive in the second quarter of 2019, also still no confirmed price.
