According to Vivo, the back of Vivo X23 has undergone a series of special processes to reach the final aspect. An example of this is the plasma polishing using a special gas. Already the size of the metal structure was reduced from 3.2mm to 2.6mm compared to the predecessor.
This device is available in several colours like purple, red and blue. There are also two gradient models, namely Fashion Purple and Fashion Orange. This device has the dimensions of 157.68 x 74.06 x 7.47 mm and weighs 160.5 grams.
Screen
The Vivo X23 features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with thin frames and a small monobloc. The screen has a ratio of 19.5: 9. The resolution is Full HD + of 2340 x 1080 pixels. One of the strengths of this device is the fourth generation fingerprint reader that is integrated into the smartphone screen. This enhanced biometric recognition technology can unlock the smartphone in just 0.35 seconds.
Chipset, memory and battery
The Vivo X23 is equipped with the Snapdragon 670 chipset. It is assisted by 8 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 128 GB. This device runs the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with FunTouch OS 4.1 interface above. The device also includes the Jovi AI wizard. The device is powered by a 3.400mAh battery that supports fast charging of 22.5W.

When thinking about performance, Vivo integrated twin-turbo acceleration technology into this equipment. So there are two features, such as System Turbo and Game Turbo. System Turbo's job is to improve application performance by 100 percent, while Game Turbo organizes the phone's features to ensure a smooth gaming experience. Vivo developed the Game Turbo in collaboration with Unreal Engine, Tencent Game Lab and China's Netease Game Lab.

The Vivo X23 features a 12-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture. The rear panel has a vertical dual camera configuration. It includes a primary Sony IMX363 12-megapixel f / 1.8 aperture sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens with f / 2.4 aperture and a 125-degree field of view. The X23 provides a number of photo features, such as beauty mode by Artificial Intelligence, scene detection, augmented reality stickers, and more.
At the audio performance level, the Vivo X23 is equipped with an AK4377A audio chip. This device supports face scanning through the front camera. For facial identification in the dark, the X23 is equipped with infrared.
Connectivity
At the level of connectivity in the X23 stands out the dual VoIP of 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C, GPS and audio output of 3.5 mm.

Vivo X23 costs about 510 Euros in China. Official smartphone sales start September 14.
