Google Maps Go hits 10 million downloads in the Google Play Store

Google Maps Go just hit awesome numbers on the Google Play Store. The Mountain View company's application designed for smartphones with fewer specifications hit an impressive 10 million downloads. Now we can only see why.

Especially if you have a smartphone with low specifications. That is, Maps Go is a "lite" version of Google Maps with less functionality but with excellent potential.

The application is simpler, more organized and much lighter. Google Maps Go weighs just over 150kb while Google Maps may well exceed 190MB. That is, although the Maps Go version is identical the size is quite different.

Maps Go is another WebApp version of Google Maps. A simpler way to show what you are looking for. Already the "normal" application, gives us extra features that there are people who like. From restaurant reviews to change of the icon of your car.

10 million Google Maps Go on Google Play Store impress

However, at the end of the day both have the same functionality. Take you from point "A" to point "B" as efficiently and quickly as possible. That's why when someone is in the Google Play Store undecided whether the application "normal" or Maps Go, I recommend going to the lightest.

Facebook Stories exceeds 300 million active users

If you later need it you can always install the normal application, however, this "lite" (or Go) application offers the key features that made this application one of the most popular in the world.

Take a look at the "GO" version and if it's enough for you do not think too much. You'll see that your smartphone thanks.
