Android Oreo 8.1 Reaches the Motorola Moto G5S Plus

Although the latest version of Google's mobile operating system is Android Pie the previous version still has much to give. More specifically, the Android Oreo (8th version) is coming to some of Motorola's smartphones.

Indeed, after successive delays, it is only now that the Motorola Moto G5S Plus begins to receive Android Oreo 8.1. Note that this incremental version (8.1) should have already reached several terminals of the brand more than a month ago.

Likewise, the American manufacturer had promised a general distribution of Android Oreo 8.1 about two months ago. It has also come, however, to ensure the eventual arrival of the Android Pie (9th version) to most of its current devices.

Finally, we have some news in this sense with the testing phase to start for the Moto G5S Plus device. The general distribution began in Brazil but the other world markets were still waiting for news.

Now, we finally see the brand updating the product support page with all the news of Android Oreo 8.1. This way we can appease the users of Motorola Moto G5S Plus and other variants of the arrival of the update. It is finally reaching new territories and new markets, and it is now a matter of time until it spreads throughout the world.

That being said, if you have one of this device go to Settings - Software Updates to check the availability of the update. It should be noted that, as is customary, this distribution is occurring gradually and phased.

In short, hopefully the next version will arrive in the space of one to two months. However, users will also be able to enjoy the latest security patch (August), as well as some general improvements and optimizations.
