Video blogger and author of YouTube channel JerryRigEverything Zack Nilsson has published a review of one of the most interesting devices of the beginning of this year - Vivo X20 Plus UD. Recall that this is the world's first commercial smartphone with a fingerprint scanner under the display. First of all, Zak found out whether the fingerprint would work with a scratched screen.
The test has traditionally begun with a screen check for scratch resistance. There were no surprises - a trifle or keys will not leave marks on the glass. Then Zak deliberately damaged the screen in the location of the fingerprint scanner, but this did not affect its performance in any way.
When bending the all-metal case of the smartphone deforms, but it's easy to return to its original position, so with the strength of the Vivo X20 Plus UD, everything is in order.
At the end, the video blogger decided to scratch the display more strongly at the location where the fingerprint was located, but the glass cracked from the applied forces, and the screen went out and did not turn on anymore.
