Apple announced that the annual World Development Conference (WWDC) will start on June 4. The event will last until June 8, and it will take place in San Jose, California.
Although the conference is intended for developers, it is of great importance for a wide audience. Usually on it Apple presents the largest updates of its operating systems.
Most likely, this year will be presented iOS 12 for the iPhone and iPad, MacOS 10.14 for Mac, tvOS 12 for Apple TV and watchOS 5 for Apple Watch. Sometimes the conference will also be presented with devices, but it is not yet known whether there will be something like this this year.
iOS 12 will be aimed at improving the performance and stability of the system, but will also contain several new features, like support for common programs for iOS and Mac. In addition, new Animoji will be added, Animoji support in FaceTime, new emoji, parent control, Siri, etc. will be improved. There are also rumors that iOS 12 may have a new home screen design, but most likely this change will be postponed until the release of iOS 13.
In MacOS 10.14 should also appear support for common with iOS programs. The update will be aimed at improving the performance and stability, and it should fix all the problems of the version of macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
There are also rumours that this year there will be a new iPad with Face ID, as well as a cheaper version of the MacBook Air.
We as usual cannot think of the future with Apple's system updates. Nothing concrete will be known until the company itself presents them.
The WWDC conference is very popular, and to participate in it, developers need to register. Later, those who can visit it, will be chosen randomly. Conference tickets cost $ 1,599. There is also a limited number of free tickets for student developers.
