The Vivo V9 screen took up 90% of the front panel

A few days after the presentation of the smartphone X21, Vivo introduced another model - V9. The device is made in a new-fashioned design with a cut-out in the screen. According to the manufacturer, the display occupies 90% of the front panel. Also among the merits of the device is an advanced front-facing camera with high resolution and the latest version of Android.

Vivo V9 meets the user with a large 6.3-inch LCD-display with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels (19: 9) and thin frames. At the top of the screen is a small cutout, inside which is one of the main "chips" of the device - a 24-megapixel front camera with a f / 2.0 aperture. According to Vivo, she uses machine learning techniques to determine the age, sex, tone and skin type to appropriately improve the resulting shots. Also, "frontalka" is used to scan the face when unlocking.

Other features of the novelty include an eight-core Snapdragon 626 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 64 GB expandable drive, a 3,260 mAh battery and a dual main camera with 16 and 5-megapixel sensors. The device is running a firmware Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.

Vivo V9 will be available in black and gold colors. The cost of the novelty has not yet been announced.
