Samsung products received 55 design awards

Samsung Electronics announced that within the international prize of the International Forum Design Award 2018, its products received as many as 55 design awards, including four gold ones, which are the most prestigious. This is the best result of the South Korean giant for all 22 years of participation in the award. 40 awards were given for product design, 5 for professional concept design and 8 for communication design and packaging and service design.

"Samsung is committed to a deeper understanding of user needs to continue to create products that make our customers 'lives brighter and better," said Dae Lee, executive vice president and head of Samsung Electronics' corporate design center.

The Gold Award was given to the Refrigerator Modernist Column Refrigerator, the game QLED monitor CHG90, the gaming PC The Odyssey and the external battery Samsung Power.

Modernist Column Refrigerator is a built-in "column" refrigerator. The steel-finished chamber is equipped with 3D Lighting backlighting. The device has a number of functions, such as a double camera on the door and the ability to open the refrigerator with a single tap and the control panel Hidden Touch, located at the level of the belt.
