The marathon of March announcements is continued by HTC, which introduced the entry-level smartphone Desire 12 and its Plus version. Both devices received a screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, a glass back cover and come preloaded with the Android Oreo operating system with Project Treble support.
The usual Desire 12 received a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1440x720 pixels (18: 9). It has a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6739, 2/3 GB of RAM, up to 32 GB of internal memory with expandability and a battery capacity of 2,730 mAh. The main camera with a resolution of 13 megapixel has a diaphragm f / 2.2, and the front camera has 5 megapixels and f / 2.4.
Desire 12 Plus equipped with a 6-inch screen with the same resolution. As a processor, the eight-core Snapdragon 450 chip is used, working in combination with 3 GB of RAM. The built-in storage capacity is 32 GB. Inside there was a battery for 2 965 mAh. The main camera in the "plus" is double - with modules at 13 Mp (f / 2.2) and 2 Mp for blurring the background. Front mounted a front camera at 8 megapixel with aperture f / 2.0 and LED flash. Also, the Desire 12 Plus is equipped with a fingerprint scanner on the backside.
According to reports, the usual HTC Desire 12 will cost from € 185 to € 199 depending on the region, and Desire 12 Plus - from € 235 to € 249. The start of sales is scheduled for April.
