According to well-known journalist Marcus Sellars, who earlier named the exact date of the Nintendo Direct event, fans will see the fourth part of Black Ops this year. He also revealed details about the game's setting and supported platforms.
According to Marcus, the events of the new Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will not occur in the future, as in the third part, but in the modern world. This means that, most likely, there will be no robots, space battles, exoskeletons and other things. Details of the plot are not yet reported.
The most interesting thing is that in addition to standard platforms, such as PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the game will also be released on the Nintendo Switch. The insider said that porting Black Ops 4 to the Switch will be handled by a team that has experience with the Call of Duty series. He also said that the Nintendo console version will support DLC, HD Rumble, and proprietary MOUSE controllers.
