MediaTek Helio P60 tested in a real smartphone

The day before the start of the technological exhibition MWC 2018 in the database Geekbench there was a record about testing the new processor MediaTek Helio P60. The chipset was tested as part of the device, codenamed P60 MWC Demo. The smartphone also had 4 GB of RAM and the operating system Android 8.1 Oreo.

There is no exact information on the configuration of the cores in this single-chip system, however, according to the results of testing, the device is close to the mid-budget Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The Helio P60 includes eight cores, which develop a maximum clock frequency of 1.99 GHz.

Not so long ago it became known that MediaTek refused to develop the flagship Helio X line and focused on the Helio P series of processors. Previously, the debut of the Helio P40 and P70 was shown at the exhibition in Barcelona, ??but the Taiwanese manufacturer can please us with a lot of new products.
