God of War will have optional chiefs, says director

Cory Barlog also says that players "will not miss" the jump button

The new  God of War will have optional boss battles, according to director  Cory Barlog.

In a podcast of Game Informer magazine, Barlog confirmed the novelty, which marks the first time in the franchise that there will be optional heads.

The director also minimized the controversy that Kratos could not jump in the game, claiming that  "fans will not miss the jump button."

Another concern minimized by Barlog is in boat crossings, which would occupy 30% of the campaign. According to him, it's a different way of crossing, and that there are "lots of fun interactions"  in these scenes.

Finally, Barlog sidetracked questions as to whether he would return to direct a potential sequel, stating that just as in the first three God of War, each game must have a different director.

God of War comes exclusively to the  PlayStation 4 on April 20th.
