Founder OnePlus responded to rumors about the successor to OnePlus X

The head of OnePlus Karl Pei commented on the rumours about the second generation of the mid-range smartphone OnePlus X released in 2015. Insiders assured that X2 will receive a 5.5-inch screen, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a 32 or 64 drive GB, 16-megapixel main and 8-megapixel front camera, as well as a battery capacity of 3 000 mAh with support for fast charging.

First Karl Pei commented on one of the news about X2 with a short message: "No". This caused controversy among the fans of the brand. Some decided that the founder of OnePlus thus hinted that the characteristics of the device would be different. The rest of the counted this message for refuting the existence of the smartphone. To eliminate the confusion, the head of the company published another appeal:

"Fake news is a huge threat to human civilization. Let's do our best to stop this, "Karl Pei wrote.

Thus, to wait for the release of the successor of OnePlus X in the near future is definitely not worth it.
