Studio Vostok Games, founded by immigrants from GSC Game World, known for the cult shooter STALKER, announced Fear the Wolves - a multiplayer action in the spirit of the famous "Royal Battle". The developers promise to show a completely different approach to the popular genre. In the game, there will be both a standard survival mode and something new.
Battles in Fear The Wolves will take place on the territory of Chernobyl. In the classic mode of the "Royal Battle" a hundred players one by one or in teams can fight to the last survivor. In addition to other gamers, the danger will come from the infected environment. The developers promise deadly anomalies, the change of time of day and dynamically changing the weather. Players will also be able to find protective equipment that will allow them to explore the dangerous territory outside the zone.
Note that after the incredible success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, the "Royal Battle" mode has become incredibly popular, and each company seeks to release its analog as soon as possible. Even a giant like Rockstar has added a similar mode to GTA Online and the future Red Dead Redemption 2.
Soon the studio Vostok Games promises to share new details about the game. Later this year, Fear The Wolves will be released in early access on the PC, and the release of the final version for personal computers and consoles will take place until the end of 2018.
