As promised, the hacker and coolstar developer released Electra - a tool for developing jailbreak tweaks and themes for iOS 11 - iOS 11.1.2.
The Electra tool will allow developers to test their tweaks and themes on iOS 11. Essentially this is a jailbreak tool designed for developers and creators of tweaks.
Although jailbreak LiberiOS for iOS 11 - iOS 11.1.2 and came out, the lack of support for iOS 11 in Cydia and Cydia Substrate does not allow developers to test their tweaks and improve them for iOS 11.
Below are the most important details about the Electra tool:
Cydia, DPKG and APT are NOT included.
GNU core utilities in the composition is.
Dropbear,SCP and SFTP work with ports 22 and 2222.
Tweaks are installed in / bootstrap / Library / SBInject .
Themes are installed in / bootstrap / Library / Themes .
PreferenceLoader is configured under / bootstrap / Library.
Tweaks, leading to the error the SpringBoard, will force the device to make a respring in safe mode.
All binary files must be signed using jtoolor ldid 2.
Executable files must be signed for the platform.
Binary files and libraries are installed in / bootstrap / usr /.
The uninstall script is available in / bootstrap / unjailbreak . sh (only the Electra tool will be removed ).
The tool supports the following devices with iOS 11:
12.9 iPad Pro, 12.9 iPad Pro 2 generations, 10.5 iPad Pro 1 generation, 9.7 iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 5 generation, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2
iPod touch 6 generation
The IPA file of the Electra tool can be downloaded from the official website. You will need to download it to the device via Cydia Impactor. Then the application needs to start and install a jailbreak through it.
Electra includes the Substitute tool created by the Comex hacker so you can install and use tweaks that are compatible with iOS 11. However, there is no Cydia support, so you'll have to add it manually.
If you are not a developer, we recommend waiting until saurik releases an update to Cydia.
